Theatre of Light is excited to announce their first 2016
1-DAY THEATRE WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN!!!

COMEDY/IMPROV WORKSHOP

Ages 8 to 16

Sunday, February 7th

1:00 to 5:30 PM

at the Old North Church, Washington Street, Marblehead

Fee: $60
($50 discounted fee if paid in full by January 24)

Registration Deadline: January 31st

This unique workshop is ideal for actors who desire a change from working on structured play scripts by practicing the art of improvisation. Improvs allow students to use an abundance of creativity as they develop their own characters while ad-libbing the lines of a skit. The actors will also enhance their skills of deepened concentration, imagination, speech, and teamwork. The workshop has a special emphasis on how to create a “believable” character within an improv.
Parents, friends, and relatives are invited to the last 30 minutes of the workshop to attend an improv show called
“Sunday Afternoon Live”!

Hello TOL Friends,

We are more than excited to announce that the Theatre of Light is having an 11th year Reunion Show and Party! We very much hope that you can attend. It will be fabulous to see you again and so much fun to share many TOL memories with everyone.

The performance is a musical and comedy variety show performed by several TOL alumni including some of the staff. You will be surprised to see who is performing! We want to keep things a surprise but one fun thing we will share is that one of the "Cookies" from "Hansel & Gretel" will be performing! The songs will take you down "Memory Lane" with some numbers from "Wizard of Oz" and "Narnia". And the TOL "trivia" during the party is sure to split your sides open from laughing.

Here are the details:

DATE: Sunday, July 27th

PLACE: Prince Pizza, Route 1, Saugus (you'll see the "leaning tower" in front of the restaurant)

TIME: 6:00 PM - Enjoy supper with your TOL friends!
(optional dinner that you can order from the restaurant's menu - pizza & food is delicious and very affordable)

7:00 PM - The Show

8:00 to 9:45 PM - The Reunion Party

Food can also be ordered after the show.

TICKETS to the show: $10 general admission - $5 for children age 7 or under

Proceeds to offset some of the cost to get TOL a computer. Sadly, the theatre's computer crashed and got that deadly blue screen!
