Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that raises money to fund grants that enrich students’ experience in the Marblehead Public Schools. By channeling private money into the public schools from grades pre-K through 12, Friends supports projects and initiatives in athletics, the arts, curriculum development, student activities, and professional develo

pment. Since 1991, Friends has awarded over $2,000,000 in grants. Many projects that received initial funding from FMPS have gone on to become self-sustaining “signature” programs, often mentioned by students as highlights of their experience in the school system. Money raised by the organization supports educational programs or events that would otherwise not be offered. Funds are not applied toward operating costs, routine supplies and texts, utilities, existing building and equipment maintenance, staff salaries and wages, or in support of school operational costs.

‼️ATTENTION‼️ There’s a new MAGICIAN in town - catch our new MASCOT at school events and even Soirée 🪄🃏♥️🖤

🤫 We’ve been sitting on this one for a while and YES you are reading this correctly. Marblehead has our very own MASCOT completely created by this super amazing and talented high school student, Sam Peach.

This grant was completely researched, planned, written and presented by Sam, an MHS junior 👏👏👏 If you have a high school student, you may have heard rumblings, and we are here to tell you it’s happening!! This grant totally embodies what Friends✏️ stands for and the fact that it was totally executed by a student… 🤯👏👌 We are SO excited to help bring it to life with help from and MHS PCO.
