There are unique golf experiences, and then there is Sullivan County Golf and Country Club. When you visit, you immediately feel like you’ve stepped into a story—because you have.

In his latest book, A Course Called Home, Tom Coyne does a masterful job of bringing that story to life. Beyond being a brilliant author, Tom is an incredibly generous supporter of our mission at Hope Strengthens Foundation. Thanks to his kindness, we were able to offer an exclusive "stay & play" package on the Member for a Day platform this past winter.

A huge thank you to Colin Jones and Aaron Brogan, who placed the winning bid. Last week, we joined them in Liberty, NY, to experience the magic of Tom’s words firsthand. We were even joined for a few holes by Superintendent Shaun Smith. It’s hard to imagine anyone more passionate about their craft than Shaun.

If you love the game of golf, we highly recommend picking up a copy of Tom’s book and planning a visit to Sullivan County GC. Together, they offer a truly sublime experience.

A day to reflect and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇲

During this annual Memorial Day tradition, Old Guard Soldiers place more than 260,000 flags throughout the cemetery to honor fallen service members, veterans, and their families. Moving section by section before sunrise, each Soldier carries hundreds of flags to ensure every gravesite and columbarium niche is marked.
