🔥Join us THIS Saturday at 10 AM at the Marble Fire Station for a community wildfire meeting focused on wildfire risk in the Marble area. Dr. Hussam Mahmoud will present wildfire modeling results, including how fire could spread, where risk is highest, and which mitigation strategies can make the biggest difference for our community.

This event is hosted in partnership with Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District, the of Marble, Gunnison County Emergency Management, West Region Wildfire Council, and the Wildfire Collaborative Roaring Fork Valley.

Videographer Needed

There will be a small simple wedding on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Marble Community Church. The couple needs a videographer. There will be no guests just the wedding couple and the minister.

📍 Marble, we’re coming to you May 21!

The Gunnison County Commissioners and staff will be heading to Marble next week for a community Town Hall meeting focused on listening, sharing updates, and talking together about areas of local concern and interest.

We know communities on the north end of the County can sometimes feel a little far from the day-to-day conversations happening in Gunnison — and we want to continue building stronger connections across the entire County.
