The Smokin’ Mustangs is the Marble Falls ISD newly established barbeque team.

Howdy! The BBQ team will have its 1st practice on Friday September 13th at 6:30 am in the Ag mechanics shop.

All Fees will be paid to the HS revtrak this year. No cash or check for these fees. These are due by September 30th.

Remember every member needs to have a sponsor this year. If you need help finding one, please let me know. Sponsorships and the forms are due back to me by September 30th as well.

Wow!! What an amazing State BBQ competition!! The Smokin' Mustangs had a blast competing against the top 91 teams in the state of Texas this past Saturday! Each of our members cooked their hearts out and we are incredibly proud of them. We can't wait for next years competitive BBQ season!!! Thank you to all of our supporters and sponsors this year! We couldn't have made it without your help!!! GO MUSTANGS!!!

The Marble Falls Smokin' Mustangs BBQ qualified for the State Competition in Burnet!!!!!

We had a great time at the Madison invitational this past Saturday!! There were 26 teams in total, more than any other competition!!

Our ribs placed 10th and our Chili placed 8th!! We can't wait for state!!!!

Conquered our first fundraiser this year!! Last night the team smoked pulled pork for 13 hours and served it to our MFHS staff for lunch. It was delicious. A special thank you to Mr. Molina for helping supervise throughout the night and Ms. Parmer for donating snacks!!

Today our team served the Marble Falls High School staff some delicious pulled pork sandwiches for their holiday lunch in and it was an amazing success. A special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Chapa for smoking the pork butts and to Mrs. Perez for helping us order supplies and putting on the event!! GO MUSTANGS!!!!

Yesterday the Smokin' Mustangs team traveled to San Antonio Texas and competed in our first BBQ competition!! After having many practices we were both nervous and very excited to compete. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication that each of our members demonstrated. Our placings yesterday would not have been possible without their excellent teamwork!

Congratulations to David for placing reserve champion with his Fajitas and Sophia for placing 4th with her Chili!!!!

Thank you St Gregory the Great Catholic School for hosting an awesome competition and making our first experience amazing!

Perfecting our Pork Chop recipe after school. Today the members got to use our new Weber grills and grill grates and learned how to create the correct grill marks.
