That sweet senior face belongs to Taz, and he’s still waiting for his special person to find him. ❤️

Taz is a 10-year-old gentleman who has been through a lot, but he hasn’t lost his love for life. He enjoys attention, car rides, and making people smile with his curious expressions. He also gets along with every species he meets. 🥰

Taz is looking for a special adopter who understands senior dogs and is willing to support his needs. He is managing arthritis with medication, and has probable Cushing’s disease. His Cushing’s also makes weight loss more challenging because it can leave him feeling extra hungry — but he’s working on it with a healthy weight plan and lots of encouragement.🙏

The ideal home for Taz would be ground level and with someone who sees his needs as part of what makes him so special. He may need a little extra care, but he has so much love and companionship to give in return. ❤️

❤️ Noelle Update ❤️

Noelle had a vet visit today, and we're happy to report that her pancreatic lipase test was normal! She's been feeling much better and is doing great on her low-fat diet.

Based on her symptoms over the past several months, we've determined that Noelle is likely dealing with chronic pancreatitis. Going forward, this will be a condition we'll manage alongside her diabetes and Cushing's disease, as all three conditions can influence one another. With the right balance of diet, medications, and monitoring, we're optimistic about keeping her comfortable and happy.🙏

A special thank you to 15/10 Foundation for completely covering the costs of Noelle's last 2 vet visits which helped us get to the bottom of what has been going on with her health. Having answers means we can move forward with a solid management plan for our sweet girl.💗

And thank you to everyone who has been sending Noelle love, prayers, and good thoughts. She seems to know she has a whole team rooting for her! 🌟

Taz came for a visit yesterday to see his friends, and while he was here, we took him in for a checkup. Our sweet senior is being treated for another ear infection, and his suspected Cushing's disease continues to progress.😕

Taz has all the classic signs of Cushing's, including restlessness, increased hunger and thirst, and difficulty losing weight. We're looking for a special adopter who understands that these challenges come with age and is willing to give him the extra care and love he needs.❤️

At around 10 years old, Taz is an easy going, loving boy who gets along with dogs, cats, and every animal he meets. He would do best in a ground-level home where he can be comfortable and continue to enjoy life at his own pace.🐾

Jasper is finally showing interest in toys! 🥹🐾

He even has a favorite stuffie that he tosses around when Papa gets home from work. And when playtime is over, he proudly carries it to his favorite place in the world - the sofa. 🛋

It may seem like a small thing, but for a dog who spent so much of his life in survival mode, learning how to play is a huge milestone.

Watching Jasper enjoy the simple joys of being a dog makes our hearts so happy. 💕

Jack has officially been with us for a month, and we can thank Rudy for being his Emotional Support Dog and best friend during the integration process 🥰.
