Yesterday was a great July 4th, and Strength & Shield, Inc. was more than happy to provide some of our Annual Bless the Blue Holiday Meals for the dedicated officers/first responders, volunteers & support staff of the Marana Police Department and NWFD.
We greatly appreciate all of the men & women who selflessly serve on duty working over the holidays, and at this time of year in the heat of the summer.
We'd also love to give a huge shout out of appreciation to Firehouse Subs shops #566 and #1086 for their generous partnership & support on these July 4th efforts for the past 2 years! We can't say enough great things about the support they provide! Please support their locations at:

The Strength & Shield, Inc. First Responder Families Float in the Marana Founder's Day Parade was a blast yesterday, more to come!

Police & First Responder Families- registration is in the last stretch for this weekend's parade float! All Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Dispatch, public safety support services & their families have through tomorrow (3/20) to register to be on the Strength & Shield 1st Responder Family Float in the Marana Founder's Day Parade for this Saturday (3/21). All goodies & supplies will be provided for during the parade, and full lunch & frozen treats will be provided afterwards for the families & the 1st Responders working the event, indoors out of the heat. Our K9 assistance partner & friends, Bishop's Mission dogs will also be joining us to hang with the kids! Last year's parade was a blast & we're looking forward to seeing you there! Recently, Strength & Shield, Inc. was honored & grateful to support a request from the Arizona Department of Public Safety in Tucson to assist them, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP Grand Canyon State Lodge 32) & the Arizona State Troopers Association for the fundraising event efforts in support & honor of DPS EMT/Trooper Hunter Bennett & DPS Pilot Robert Sk***ey, with 100% of event proceeds going to their families. We were honored to provide an entire table of raffle baskets with some amazing items from our friends at the University of Arizona Office of Public Safety (UAPD). These included amazing contributions from the University of Arizona Athletics of both a men's team autographed football and basketball! Additionally, Strength & Shield was happy to provide and serve the event desserts, with 500 cupcakes donated by The Lazy Dazy Baker, Inc.
We'd also like to send a shout out of thanks to our friends at Planet Subs (Planet Sub-Tucson) for helping us (they always do!) with meals for the volunteers & those from the DPS dispatch/communications dept that were on duty.
We'd like to say an extra word of care & prayers out to the lovely Bennett family who was in attendance. Our hearts go out to them, and we wish them comfort during this extremely difficult time.

Strength & Shield, Inc. had an amazing social for the fellow LEO/First Responder Wives this weekend at our Galentine's event. Wonderful group of ladies, support & decompression from the stresses that come from being a First Responder Family. We appreciate all of you, and the great & beautiful response from the event!

We're almost max full on reservations for our upcoming February First Responder Wives Social. These FREE PRIVATE positive socials are part of our beneficial Strength & Shield Programs. The Police Officer Wives of AZ Program provides strength through connection, relevant resources, food, fun, and decompression from the stresses of first responder family life.

Yesterday, Strength & Shield, Inc. presented the 2026 - 13th Annual Blessing Breakfast for First Responders. It was a beautiful morning with an amazing attendance of wonderful local first responders, departments, prayers given by sworn uniformed chaplains, and positive notes for the year ahead! Strength & Shield is honored to now host this local annual tradition and grateful to ensure it continues for years to come!

Merry Christmas from Strength & Shield!!! 🎄🚓🚒

Today, Strength & Shield, Inc. was able to help provide some fun & joy to a very deserving family who had some terrible loss this year, and that we were more than honored to be able to fulfill their Christmas wishlist.

This holiday, as part of our Bless the Blue, and our Shield & Shelter programs for first responder families, we were able to include having 2 major recipient families, 11 gift families, and helped provide support to 30 children for Christmas!

We're beyond words on the heartbreaking circumstances some of these amazing families have gone through this year, but it makes our hearts glad & grateful to have brought some significant support & care this week! Special prayers for our 2 major recipient families for continued healing, peace, love & contentment in the new year!
