Somewhere, a husband, wife, son, daughter, niece, nephew or friend is grieving the loss of a loved one. It doesn’t matter if the loss was several hours, days, months, years or decades ago; the memories live on thanks to the sacrifices they made for our life and liberty.

Memorial Day 2026 is no different for us here at Waynesborough than in previous years. We have, and will always continue to honor these brave men and women for what they’ve done.

One of the many beauties of model railroading is that you can recreate any era you want. A popular favorite here is the early to mid 20th century. Back when steam was king, and heavyweight passenger trains were the premiere travel!
