This past week, we heard a presentation from Bonnie Mitchell and Rose Vercande, both from the Jackson County Historical Society, about their plans to celebrate 🇺🇸 America’s 250th Birthday 🎂! They have many plans set throughout the year, one of them is hosting a traveling display called, “The American Revolution Experience”. Sponsored by the historical society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, this exhibit will be available Sept 16th - Sept 24th located at the Historical Society at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. Good music, great company, and root beer floats for an amazing cause! 🎵🍦

​It was awesome checking out the newly renovated community space while serving up treats and listening to some incredible live music.

​A huge thank you to everyone who donated! All proceeds are heading straight to the Stead Family Children's Hospital to support pediatric cancer research and care. 💛

Hyvee Fresh Market donated all the supplies for the root beer floats. Thank you, Jimmy for supporing us and this event!
