We raise money and share it with our neighbors with a need, so we're always , and we like to keep it FUN!

Please take a moment to read this powerful story about an unthinkable hardship facing a family in our community, and get involved if you're able.

"...they began to build their new life here. They enrolled their daughter in preschool at the ECC and found jobs working for MRH as custodians. Alba said that sometimes she would think about the family she left behind in Nicaragua and would be so overcome with emotion that she would go to the bathroom to cry. But she was grateful to be here, and grateful to be safe.

Alba and her husband were doing all of the right things. They were compassionate, dutiful, hard workers, had documentation, were paying taxes, and they were continuing to attend their prescribed six-month immigration check-ins.

But this is where all the right things – went wrong. At their most recent legally required immigration check-in- Boanerges was detained by ICE, and Alba was sent home with an ankle monitor and told to get her things in order and to make plans to deport back to Nicarguara with their daughter."
