Happy New Year 2025 to you all. I am personally making this year a year of more successes, a year of showing more love to anyone I get to cross paths with. I am making this year a year of listening to those who need an ear that could listen to them. I want this year to be full of positivity and a year of setting positive examples through ACTIONS. Voice in the Wildernes presents a gift to one of our partners, Benedict Foundation Clinic, for the purchase of medical equipment. Based in Kinshasa, DRC, the Benedict Clinic provides maternal health care to women in the capital city's poorest regions. These funds, $4800 in total, were generated during our May fundraiser. Already, we can say with confidence that Lutala offers a level of education that is unequaled in the Fizi territory.

It’s been a busy week discussing about how to better help new refugees who are being resettled in Minnesota, including the New Afghan Evacuees. MN alone has welcomed 849 arrivals from Sept, 2021 to January, 2022. We are expecting that number to be up to 1300 by the end of February, 2022. If you want to donate anything financial or material donations, please reach out to us. The need is big and we can all do our part in welcoming our new neighbors.
