Join us for a fun evening at Maple Valley Church for our Lock-In Lite—a high-energy hangout (not an overnight!) on May 1st from 6–9 PM.

We’ll have dinner, dessert, games, movies, and plenty of time to hang out with friends!

After dinner, students will take a quick trip to 7-Eleven to pick out their favorite treat (included in the cost, though students are welcome to bring extra spending money if they’d like). The cost is $15 but don’t let money get in the way!

If you join us at church on Sundays, you have likely heard Ross (our Worship Pastor), share this verse:

“Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music form your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” - Ephesians 5:19

Ross often reminds us that when we worship together, we are actually preaching the gospel to ourselves and to those around us. We’re reminding one another of what is true. Worship is a vital part of our walk with Jesus, and while it’s not limited to music, there is something uniquely powerful about how songs can reach and shape our hearts on a deeper level.

With that in mind, tomorrow RISE will look a little bit different because we are going to be having a Worship Night! We’ll still have dinner and games per usual, but the rest of the night will be dedicated to worshipping through songs and other reflective activites for our students. It will be a special night!
