📣 What a perfect day to kick off the 2026/2027 Cheer season! ☀️💙🐻

The Tahoma High School Cheer team had a blast marching in the Maple Valley Days parade today behind the Tahoma High School Band! The sun was shining, the energy was high, and the community support was unmatched.

We were so incredibly proud to share the parade route and walk side-by-side with two amazing groups: ✨ The wonderful Tahoma Sparkle cheer team and Tahoma Jr Bears cheer teams🐻💙

Thank you to everyone who came out, braved the heat, and cheered us on! We are so excited for the year ahead. Let’s go, Bears! 🐻💙✨

Whether your athlete is a total beginner or already in a cheer program, the Future Bear Cheer Camp is the perfect place to build confidence, learn the fundamentals, and—most importantly—have a blast!

Tahoma Cheer’s National and World Champions had their final celebration last night as they accepted their championship rings. We will remember the legacy of the 2025-26 team for years to come. Congratulations Bears. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished. 💙💛💙

Tahoma Cheerleading’s 2025-26 National and World teams were recognized tonight by the Maple Valley City Council for their outstanding performances in Florida earlier this year. The Game Day team was awarded 1st place and the title of National Champions. The Traditional team also placed 1st and came home with a World Champions title. Both teams received the coveted “white jackets” which they will wear with pride.
Today marks the first day of “Maple Valley Cheerleader Week” for the 3rd year in a row.
Thank you to the Maple Valley City Council for recognizing these talented athletes in cheer as well as other athletes and scholars from Tahoma High School. We are proud of our Bears! 💙💛💙💛

There's just one week left until our Class of 2026 cheerleaders take their final walk through high school. We are excited to see what these women will do in their very bright futures.

Fox 13 Good Day Seattle will be live at Lake Wilderness Park this morning highlighting Maple Valley during its Zip Trip segment. Tahoma High School’s 2026 Nationals Cheer team and drum line will be featured. Be sure to tune in or setup your recording. Go Bears! 💙☀️💙

Each year, Tahoma Cheer Boosters is proud to offer multiple scholarship opportunities to our seniors and this years’ recipients couldn’t be more deserving.
