🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week | May 4–8

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers at the Orono Discovery Center who bring so much care, creativity, and intention to their classrooms each day. Their work helps create a strong, supportive start for our youngest learners and their families.

We also want to recognize our PAC Orono Discovery Center Parents for organizing thoughtful ways to celebrate our teachers throughout the week—from special treats to small moments of appreciation that go a long way.

We truly appreciate the time, energy, and heart our teachers pour into their work. Thank you for the difference you make each and every day. 💙

💙 Junior Spartan Closet 💙

Spring is here! 🌷 Visit our free community exchange closet for children ages 0–8 to pick up new-to-you spring outfits, everyday layers, and rain gear for puddle splashing. ☔👢

Donations are always welcome! We gladly accept new or gently used children's clothing and new hygiene supplies. Donations can be placed in the bins inside the closet. We especially need girls infant, 2T, 3T, and 4T clothing right now.

🍎 The closet also carries Every Meal weekend food bags — free, no enrollment needed. Five bag varieties available to fit different dietary preferences.

Join us Saturday, January 31 for Super Saturday! Enjoy crafts, story time, book bingo, access to the Scholastic Book Fair, and more. Hope to see you there!

🌟Super Saturday is coming up at the Orono Discovery Center on January 31 from 9 - 11 AM!

Join us for a morning filled with friendship, reading, and fun! Enjoy bingo, crafts, snacks, gym time, and a special story time led by a librarian from the Maple Plain Library. This event also kicks off the Scholastic Book Fair, happening at the Orono Discovery Center from January 31 - February 6.
