Volunteer and lend a hand at the 2026 Derby - Join us for a fun day!
If you have volunteered at the Derby in the past - we want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your time and assistance!

It takes over 150 volunteers - to set up, create and execute this awesome day that everyone enjoys.

Whether its 5 minutes or 5 hours we can use you in many areas:

Set up
Friday Ticket sales
Saturday Derby ticket Sales
Parking/traffic control
Headquarters
Fish registration/judging
Bar
Dance
½ a day – all day -- whatever you can give. Even an hour helps! It's a great day and great way to give of your time. All proceeds go back to our lake!

❄️Attention MLLPOA: there is a boat stuck in the cattails on middle Maple just after the channel. It’s been there since Wednesday. Might have come loose in high winds.

🐟Gordy Paumen met with Mark from West Central Bait at the Hwy 55 public access at 10:00 AM November 4th 2025 for the annual walleye stocking.

He delivered 363 pounds (approximately 7300 walleye fingerlings)

The fingerlings looked healthy and quickly dispersed. MLLPOA pays for stocking on odd years.
