Not every birth experience goes as planned. For some mothers, childbirth can leave emotional wounds that last long after delivery.

Birth trauma and postpartum PTSD are real. You may experience flashbacks, anxiety, panic attacks, difficulty bonding with your baby, trouble sleeping, or feelings of fear when thinking about your birth experience.

If this sounds familiar, please know: you are not alone, and help is available.

Healing is possible when mothers have access to support, understanding, and the resources they need to process their experiences in a safe and healthy way.
