Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Multicultural Kids Network honors the histories, living cultures, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. We celebrate the elders, families, and young leaders who carry their languages, knowledge, and traditions forward.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we believe every child deserves to grow up knowing that their heritage matters, their voice deserves respect, and they belong.

Awareness begins with learning, and grows through action. We invite our community to read books by Indigenous authors, learn about the Native nations whose lands we call home, support Indigenous organizations and businesses, and listen to Indigenous voices.

Let’s teach our children to appreciate cultures beyond their own and stand against prejudice and discrimination. Honoring Indigenous peoples is a commitment we can carry throughout the year.

Please share this message to help raise awareness and build a more respectful, inclusive community.

🚗⚙️ I am so excited about my new Rotary license plate! Now I can carry my Rotary pride wherever the road takes me.

I am proud to be a Rotarian and honored to serve as the Charter President of the Rotary Club of I-94 Inclusive. For me, Rotary means friendship, service, and creating a community where everyone feels welcome, valued, and empowered to make a difference.

This plate is a daily reminder of the commitment I carry in my heart: Service Above Self. ❤️

To my fellow Rotarians, thank you for making this journey so meaningful. Let’s keep serving, building connections, and turning belonging into action!

Charter President Samba Fall is also the Minneapolis NAACP Education Committee Chair!

Ninety-five years after a mob nearly lynched Ernest McDuffey at the Anoka jail, community members gathered to remember what happened and consider its lasting significance.
