The legacy lives on. Our grandson, Asa Ronan, is on a wrestling team, CAMEL KIDS. Each wrestler has to choose a fallen hero to learn about and honor. Asa chose SSG Justin Vasquez. We are thankful to Camel Kids wrestling for seeing to it that our fallen heroes are never forgotten.

Rest in Peace, John Orth! You were always there for us at every service we had at Evergreen Cemetery. You just belonged up on that hearse. We're gonna miss ya. Give Mike, Lady and Duke a carrot for us.

John does a great job on the lines and looks so good on the coach...we wish we could have them up there at every funeral.

We regret to announce that on Oct. 7 as we were heading the the Colorado Pro Rodeo Association Finals to honor First Responders, we had an accident. Sammie and the crew are fine, but unfortunately our 1867 Cunningham hearse did not fare so well.

We will be working with experts to see if it can be repaired or whether we will need to find a replacement. In the meantime, don’t be disheartened, we will continue our mission to honor the Fallen, but with some delay.

On the brighter side, we will continue the other part of our mission which is to use our magnificent Percheron horses, Duke III and Sammie as therapy horses for injured police & troops and their families.

While we are working with experts to try to repair the hearse we will also be working on building a wheelchair accessible carriage so injured heroes can experience the amazing and exhilarating feeling of driving these massive animals.

There is a positive to every negative and opportunity in adversity.

Miss Sammie pulling the hearse for the first time. She is so amazing and rock solid. We are looking forward to honoring First Responders and the Military next weekend at the Colorado PRCA Finals in Colorado Springs.

Sammie and Duke III kissing goodbye. Sammie passed all her testing with flying colors and is headed back to the Moseley’s in Elizabeth where Joe and Kim will keep her fresh and ready to go to work. Don’t worry though, the love birds will reunited again soon.

Miss Sammie had some sensitivity training this morning with one of our favorite deputies. Sirens are no big deal to this smart girl. Thank you, Deputy M for taking time after your 12 hour grave yard shift to help us get Sammie ready in case duty calls.
