What a wonderful night last night with the Chuck Wagon Gang as we celebrated 90 years of faith, music, and American heritage together in Sabine Parish. We are so thankful to everyone who came out to the Many Community Center to be part of this special evening honoring America’s 250th celebration. The music, fellowship, and spirit of the night made it truly unforgettable.

Tomorrow night, join us at the Many Community Center/Sabine Theatre for a FREE performance by the legendary Chuck Wagon Gang as they celebrate 90 years of gospel music! Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 6:00 p.m.
Earlier today, the group was honored at a luncheon hosted by Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser and visited the Old State Capitol to view Louisiana’s America 250 exhibit and Louisiana Purchase documents. While there, they gave a special impromptu performance of the National Anthem.
Come experience this legendary group live tomorrow night as we celebrate faith, music, and America 250 in Sabine Parish!

The Sabine Parish Time Capsule Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Sabine Parish Courthouse.

Our community leaders are excited as they gather items that represent their towns and communities, preserving a piece of Sabine Parish to be opened and remembered 50 years from now.

Afterwards, join us at the Sabine Parish Library for a reception.

Who’s ready for a patriotic 4th of July Boat Parade on Toledo Bend?

We’re excited to lead a fun-filled parade along the lake as we celebrate America’s 250th! You can ride the entire route with us or jump in anywhere along the way.

Boat lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Pedleton Bridge and the parade starts at 10 a.m. Check out the route map, find your spot, and follow along as we cruise beautiful Toledo Bend together. The parade will end at Cypress Bend Park.

We can’t wait to see the lake filled with boats, flags, and patriotic spirit. Don’t forget to decorate your boat and show off your America 250 pride as we celebrate 250 years of freedom on the water!
