We are delighted to share photographs from our 9th annual Arbor Day tree planting event. We extend our gratitude to ABIS environmental club, shade tree chairman Jack Kuhlman, Mayor Onderko, DPW director George Watkins, Councilman Chris Basista, Councilwoman Patty Zamorski, and MDPW members for their participation. Three trees were planted on the east side of Dukes park, including a White Oak, Willow Oak, and a Sycamore tree, which will provide cool shade and fresh air for years to come. Special thanks for pics by Mrs Sharon Onderko.

The commission is looking for new volunteers! Come plant trees, learn more about suburban tree planting, sit in on meetings for Arbor Day and tree plantings around town. Trees are the way. The answer is trees!

So this happened today,on Main Street, in the rain. Red bud and Kousa Dogwood planted by Manville DPW and Jack Kuhlman Chairman of the Shadetree commission, CTE and owner of Nature’s Hands Tree Experts tree service in Manville, New Jersey.
