Come join us for a trail celebration festival in Mantua, Ohio. Triple Trail Fest is a celebration of the convergence of three incredible trails in our incredible little trail town. The crossing of the Headwaters Trail, The Buckeye Trail and The Cuyahoga River Water Trail.

The Mantua Historical Society will hold their Annual Meeting in the Mantua Township Town Hall on Sunday, Nov 2 at 3:30pm, located at 4122 SR 82, Mantua, OH. It is free & open to the public. Our meeting will begin with our guest speaker, Frank Ulics of Mantua/Shalersville, who will speak about his escape from Hungary during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. It is a fascinating first hand account of how Frank, at the age of 17 and without speaking any English, journeyed West and eventually reached the United States.
There will be a short business meeting afterwards & light refreshments will be served. The museum will be open.
*The Town Hall is not handicapped accessible*

Recent acquisitions! All 3 unidentified. Donor thought they might be from the Horner family? First 2 are charcoal, I believe & the third is a photo. Anyone know who they might be?

Friday, Oct 10 4-7pm, the Mantua Restoration Society will hold it's 2nd Friday fund-raising, donation only, dinner at the Mantua Center School Annex. Dine in or carry-out. The Mantua Historical Society will have a Mantua Center School exhibit of photos & memorabilia from 'way back to the last day it closed in 2004. Come enjoy good food, good friends, & share your memories & take a walk down Memory Lane.

We had visitors last Thursday! These kids had great & some hard questions for me. Their Grandma was very knowledgeable and helped me out as well. 😄 Thank you for visiting! If you want to see our museum, call 330-995-3840 to set up an appointment, we are open most Thursdays 10-noon April 1 -Nov 1
