Hi Lee here again. I know this is late and I apologize. Had a doctor's appointment. We had 32 people in attendance. Gary Brewer is going to be a VSO at the Wexford County office. A nice surprise the Wexford County Council on Aging had surplus chairs and they donated them to the museum. They look nice. Next coffee November 5 at 10AM.

Hi Lee here again. I don't know were to begin. It's been a while. We had great speakers at our last coffee. State and local respresentatives answered questions . We had the director of Mi veterans affairs, Terry Sabo, Christian Herman, and of course our Wexford director of veterans services Carrie Perez. I will tell you when we get speakers of this caliber it is unprecedented. I promised if you have questions call 1-800-MICH-VET. We passed out 1500 flags at the harvest festival parade. I know not everyone got one. Will get more next year. Tomorrow is 9-11, fly your flags at half staff. I think you should remember where you were you were on that September day. Next coffee October 1 , 10AM. Thanks for listening to me. I read all your comments. Prayers for our troops. Lee signing off.

Lee here again. Thursday September 3 is our next veterans coffee and friends of the museum at 0900. We are going to a very special guest. Director Terry Sabo of the Veterans Administration will be joining us. Veterans, it's not often you that you get to ask a VA Director questions.

Hi Lee here again. The wall is setup and ready for viewing. Dates to reminder, hometown heroes picnic August 22nd at the Rotary Park pavilion. Noon until 4pm or the food is gone. No fee donations only. If you can't afford a donation you are still welcome. Veterans and friends of the museum coffee Thursday September 3, 0900. Hope to see everyone at both events.
