Lee here again. Thursday September 3 is our next veterans coffee and friends of the museum at 0900. We are going to a very special guest. Director Terry Sabo of the Veterans Administration will be joining us. Veterans, it's not often you that you get to ask a VA Director questions.

Hi Lee here again. The wall is setup and ready for viewing. Dates to reminder, hometown heroes picnic August 22nd at the Rotary Park pavilion. Noon until 4pm or the food is gone. No fee donations only. If you can't afford a donation you are still welcome. Veterans and friends of the museum coffee Thursday September 3, 0900. Hope to see everyone at both events.

Hi Lee here again. I have just received confirmation that the Michigan Vietnam Memorial traveling wall will arrive at the museum on Friday August 14th. I will post when it will be available for public viewing.

Lee here again. Our August coffee for Veterans and friends of the museum was a great success. We had 38 attendees. Breakfast was awesome thanks to Nick and Ken for cooking. We had some great guests. Some dates of importance, August 17th Veterans salute & appreciation dinner opening night of the Northern District Fair. Veterans eat for free. This should be a great event. August 22 hometown heroes picnic. More details this week.

Lee here again. We had a great day at the Veterans Expo. Wexford County Veterans offices put on a great event. Thanks to their staff and volunteers. Just a reminder Veterans and friends of museum coffee August 6th at 0900. Veterans open house on August 4th from 6PM to 8pm at the Veterans offices on Lake Street in Cadillac, sounds like their going to have some great speakers.
