So, it turns out that we weren't allowed to go live because we don't have enough followers! Please share this page with your friends so that we don't have that problem anymore!

A total of $1960 in raffle tickets was sold and the winner received $980!

The DEC PTO/Boosters was busy last week for teacher/ staff appreciation week to thank everyone for all that they do for our children!

Here's what we did:

Monday we set up a yogurt and fresh fruit bar with coffee donated by Higher Grounds Coffee Shop. Please be sure to support them! No pictures! I'm sorry. I really don't do mornings very well. I should have had some of that delicious coffee.

Tuesday we set up a taco bar for taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo! All of the food was homemade by one of our DEC parents who is an amazing cook! She even made the guacamole and salsa from scratch! Yum!

Wednesday we provided a snack bar to help the staff get over the mid-week hump.

Thursday we presented the staff with cards made by the students along with seed packets to thank the staff for "helping us grow"

Friday we provided staff with charcuterie to go along with a DEC tshirt and a Mariners keychain or earrings ((their choice) keychains and earrings are compliments of one of our very talented parents who generously donated both!))

Thank you to everyone who made each day possible last week!

P.S. DEC tshirts are arriving on Thursday, May 14 and will be available for purchase beginning Friday! Earrings and keychains are also always available!

The Dare Early College PTO is excited to kick off our 50/50 Raffle! Tickets are going home with students today, and we’d love your support. Half of the proceeds will go to the lucky winner, and the other half will help support our school, students, and special programs!

We are SO VERY PROUD of the first ever Dare Early College Science Olympiad team! You went to Ms Mount and Ms Sealock and said that you wanted to find out what Science Olympiad is and that you want to compete and YOU DID! It's only up from here and we are so excited to see what the future holds for all of you. I bet the Team is already planning for next year's competition. Welcome home Team! We are so proud of each of you!

Science Olympiad families - are you in need of a hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt to wear in support of your favorite team this weekend in Greenville? We will be there with a box of hoodies and crews in our car. Size and color availability will be limited! If you know that you will want a shirt, message us by Thursday night and I'll be sure to bring your requested shirt style, color and size. Thank you for your continued support of our PTO and staff and students.

Dare Early College's staff will be hitting the road on Monday, February 16th, hosting pop-up conferences at three local locations! Families of current and prospective students are invited to stop by the location that works best for them during the time windows listed below. These informal, come-and-go chats are a great opportunity to connect, check on student progress, ask questions, and learn more about the DEC experience!
