We're having a fall market and we would like you to be a vendor! Vendor applications will be available this week. Send us an email and as soon as the applications are ready, we will send one your way.

And if you aren't a vendor, please put the date on your calendar and come get some holiday shopping done and start crossing some names off of your list.

We hope that everyone's school year is off to an amazing start!

There will be a PTO meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, at 9:00AM at school in building A.

Building A is also often referred to as the "big building" by yours truly since I am always confusing the two. 😜

You don't have to participate. You are welcome to just join us and sit in and listen to what we're up to.

We hope to see you there!

Good evening Mariner families! We hope your Mariner has had an amazing first few days at Dare Early College!

We’re so excited to be back in action and we have lots of ideas for this school year!

Yesterday, your student was given some information to bring home about joining our PTO. We know you’re busy, and we will never ask you to commit to anything! Your PTO membership alone will make a huge difference in allowing us to support our students, staff, and school! Please consider joining our PTO and help us give our Mariners a great year!

If you need more information or another copy of the form just let us know!

So, it turns out that we weren't allowed to go live because we don't have enough followers! Please share this page with your friends so that we don't have that problem anymore!

Here's the video of the raffle drawing.

A total of $1960 in raffle tickets was sold and the winner received $980!

Congratulations to the lucky winner, Bud Tillett!

Thank you to everyone who sold and purchased raffle tickets!

Our students, staff and school appreciate you!

The DEC PTO/Boosters was busy last week for teacher/ staff appreciation week to thank everyone for all that they do for our children!

Here's what we did:

Monday we set up a yogurt and fresh fruit bar with coffee donated by Higher Grounds Coffee Shop. Please be sure to support them! No pictures! I'm sorry. I really don't do mornings very well. I should have had some of that delicious coffee.

Tuesday we set up a taco bar for taco Tuesday and Cinco de Mayo! All of the food was homemade by one of our DEC parents who is an amazing cook! She even made the guacamole and salsa from scratch! Yum!

Wednesday we provided a snack bar to help the staff get over the mid-week hump.

Thursday we presented the staff with cards made by the students along with seed packets to thank the staff for "helping us grow"

Friday we provided staff with charcuterie to go along with a DEC tshirt and a Mariners keychain or earrings ((their choice) keychains and earrings are compliments of one of our very talented parents who generously donated both!))

Thank you to everyone who made each day possible last week!

Please be sure to join the boosters (no obligation!) It's your dues that make it possible for us to spoil our staff. Message us here to join for the 2026-2027 school year. We promise we won't bother you unless you want us to! We pinky swear!

P.S. DEC tshirts are arriving on Thursday, May 14 and will be available for purchase beginning Friday! Earrings and keychains are also always available!

Message us here, or email us at [email protected] to purchase yours now and to arrange pickup!
