The Veterans Garage

The Veterans Garage the Garage also includes a sitting room and display rooms decorated with Military memorabilia on display - provided by local Veterans.

The Veterans Garage is an Illinois 501(c)3 non profit organization that brings together Military Vehicle owners, Veterans and Patriots to preserve and display Historic Military Vehicles and Equipment. The Veterans Garage is a concept created by a group of Military Vehicle owners who want to reach out to Veterans, Families and Friends and Veteran related organizations to offer support with the use

of privately owned Military Vehicles. The Veterans Garage is also a physical location where Veterans and public can visit a working shop where Military Vehicles are stored, service, repaired and restored. Friends of The Veterans Garage also offers the opportunity to work on, ride on and in some cases drive The Military Vehicles in parades and Static Displays - car shows, air shows and other Veteran related events. Our goal is to provide a place and an opportunity for Veterans to relax, share artifacts, stories and participate in events in a way most never thought possible. We also work with Families, Friends and Veteran related organizations to help support their efforts to help, to support and to honor the brave men and women of the Armed Forces. HQ Air Force JROTC announced the Veterans High School AF JROTC unit earned the Distinguished Unit Award (DUA) for AY 2025-2026. This award recognizes the personal growth and accomplishments of the cadets, contributions of the instructors as mentors, and the support of the school and local community. VHS AF JROTC is doing great things in their respective communities and truly represents the best of JROTC units worldwide.
