Rafiq's Readers Non-profit dedicated to improve and change the lives of youth living in disadvantaged communities by Mr. Rafiq was known to be a remarkably, generous man.

Rafiq’s Readers is a non-profit organization established in memory of Mohammed Rafiq. His eldest daughter, Farisha Rafiq, decided to combine the subjects that her father highlighted in her life: books, education, and charity. Rafiq instilled in his daughters the importance of reading and attending school; regularly taking them to libraries and reminding them that, due to extreme hardships, he did

not have the same opportunities in life that they did to receive a valuable education. He demonstrated his altruistic spirit on a daily basis, showing his children that giving to the less fortunate was a significant aspect of life. The purpose of Rafiq’s Readers is to provide books and school supplies to underprivileged children, ensuring that the ideals Mr. Rafiq left with his daughters continue to carry on in future generations.
