Thank you Long International Middle School for inviting us to your Back to School Night on 08/27! We were able to provide enough school supplies to cover the first quarter, which should last throughout the remainder of the year, and they are already being distributed to students. Today we made our first trip to Walmart and bought two shopping carts full of school supplies. This was the first of many trips to Walmart. 😊

We plan on dropping off the school supplies next week when schools open up in St. Louis. If you’d like to make a donation, it’s still not too late!

On Christmas Eve we provided guests at The Haven of Grace with a meal and gifts for kids. On Christmas Day, with the tremendous help of Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches as well as House of Goods Baitulmal, we were able to provide a joint dinner and gifts to those in need at Karen House Catholic Worker. Thank you to those who donated gifts, food, or money, and a BIG thank you to those who volunteered to help out in person! We appreciate each and every one of you!! Happy New Year and stay tuned for our future events in 2019. :)

This Christmas we will be partnering with Yapi Mediterranean Subs and Sandwiches to provide a meal as well as gifts to guests of Karen House Catholic Worker, located in St. Louis, MO. Karen House provides hospitality services including shelter, food, and clothing to homeless women and children in St. Louis. It is run by volunteers and donations from the community.

Get in the holiday spirit of giving to the less fortunate by donating today! When you make a gift, we will ensure that ALL proceeds go directly to purchasing food, gifts, and other basic essentials.

On November 6th, we teamed up with Haven of Grace - St. Louis to provide a home-cooked meal and donations to young women and children in need. THANK YOU to our donors who helped us raise $170, with which we were able to provide the meal as well as purchase basic necessities for the babies and toddlers. We look forward to working with Haven of Grace in the future!
