Sixteen years ago, Kristin and I didn’t set out to start a ministry. We just said yes to God, trusting Him with something small and believing He would do the rest.

Mission:Shoes was never just about shoes.
It’s about children being seen.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about slowing down long enough to look a child in the eyes, pray with them, and remind them that Jesus knows their name and cares about every step they take.

Every pair of shoes represents a story. A prayer. A reminder that God uses ordinary obedience to do extraordinary work.

We are deeply grateful for those who give monthly, for those who sponsor shoes, and for every person who has stood with us over the years. You are part of every step, every smile, and every life touched. Thank you for believing, giving, and walking this journey with us.

A simple pair of shoes doesn’t just protect little feet—it creates connections, builds relationships, and opens hearts.

The day after a Shoe Ministry outreach, our team visited a local community when something beautiful happened. A little girl who recognized us and ran up, wrapping us in the biggest hugs. Her joy was contagious, and she couldn’t wait to introduce us to her family and wanted us to visit her home.

Moments like these remind us that Mission:Shoes is about more than just footwear—it’s about connection, love, and the doors that open when we meet practical needs with the heart of Christ. Day 2: Mission:Shoes – A Story of God’s Perfect Timing

Sometimes, God’s love shines brightest in the most unexpected moments. Today, our team met two young brothers, Dieb Lhorr (Grade 2) and Leonard Austria (Grade 3). Just two weeks ago, they lost their father, and their mother is no longer part of their lives. Now, they are lovingly cared for by their Grandmother Gloria, who is navigating the heavy burden of grief while holding her family together.

Through something as simple as a pair of shoes, God opened the door for us to meet this precious family. As we placed shoes on the boys’ feet, we had the opportunity to pray with Gloria and remind her that even in the darkest valleys, God is near. His love and strength are with her, and He sees her faithfulness in caring for her grandchildren.

Please join us in praying for Dieb Lhorr, Leonard, and their Grandmother Gloria. May they find comfort and hope in knowing they are not alone, and may God continue to provide for them in His perfect timing.
