2.To encourage activities tending to improve the morale and general welfare of the members and to encourage adherence of all its members to high standards of conduct.

3.To provide and maintain an organization that has as its principal purpose the representation of its members in matters regarding wages, hours of labor, working conditions, economic benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
