This foundation is a proponent for exercise and proper eating to help reduce diabetes and obesity.

We also give many scholarships each year to help chilren further their education. The main fund raiser is the Antone Raymus Golf Tournament held each June

We’re proud to recognize Jack Thomson as this year’s Antone Raymus Tournament honoree a true pillar of our community and a giant in Manteca education and coaching.

For decades, Jack has given back in countless ways. From his dedicated volunteer work at St. Anthony’s Parish to his incredible legacy on the baseball field, his impact has been felt across generations.

Coach Thomson spent 41 years leading varsity baseball 18 years at Manteca High and 23 at Sierra High. With 607 career wins, he stands as the #2 winningest coach in Sac-Joaquin Section history. His excellence earned him induction into the SJS Hall of Fame in 2024 and recognition as CIF Model Coach of the Year in 2010.

But beyond the wins and accolades, Jack and his wife Paula have inspired so many through their strength, grace, and resilience in the face of unimaginable loss. Their example has left a lasting mark on this community.

Today, you’ll often find Jack enjoying the game he loves at Sierra’s Jack Thomson Stadium, proudly watching his son Travis coach the Timberwolves a full circle moment that speaks to the legacy he’s built both on and off the field.

Congratulations, Jack and thank you for everything you’ve given to Manteca. ⚾💙

Tonight, board members of the Manteca Children's Foundation were proud to volunteer and help at the Fish Fry at St. Anthony Catholic Church 🐟✨🍽️

It was a great evening serving alongside amazing volunteers 🤝, talking with wonderful community members 😊, and enjoying some delicious fish together 😋🐟.

We’re grateful to be part of events that bring people together while supporting a great cause ❤️🙏.

🧡🥫 Giving Back to Our Community! 🥫

Today, the Manteca Children’s Foundation, led by President Ron Agostini proudly presented Second Harvest Food Bank with a $500 donation to support Thanksgiving efforts right here in Manteca! 🦃🍂

A huge thank you to Marcus Strickland and CEO Jessica Vaughan for their continued dedication to ensuring local families have food on their tables this holiday season. Their partnership and compassion make a real difference in our community. 🙌

Together, we are helping support those in need and spreading the spirit of gratitude and giving. ❤️

Last night, the Manteca Children’s Foundation held our monthly meeting to plan for the upcoming giving holiday season. 🎁❤️

We discussed our annual blanket drive to help families in need stay warm this winter, as well as the potential scholarships we’ll be awarding in the new year to support local students. 🎓✨

We’re grateful for our dedicated members who continue to make a difference in the lives of children and families across our community. 💙
