Northern Tier Camp Cadet

Northern Tier Camp Cadet Camp Cadet is a five day experience for boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 13. Offered in Tioga, Cameron and Potter counties.

They are exposed to law enforcement activities and are provided an opportunity to get to know police officers on a personal basis. The purpose of Camp Cadet is to provide insight into police training and the overall expectations of a police officer. This program is a true- to-life experience, patterned after municipal and state police training. The cadets are challenged by classroom instruction an

d physical activities. They are also taught self-discipline and how to work as a team player. When self-discipline of the cadet breaks down, push ups or other physical exercise are implemented.

With this new year, NTCC hopes to have some very necessary upgrades. In order for these upgrades to be possible, we need *your* help.

NTCC needs to purchase new equipment due to many years of wear-and-tear. We also need to purchase an enclosed trailer (with the hopes of getting our logo on it if funding available). I am hoping to also bring some new upgrades to camp cadet and purchase pellet guns to teach cadets fire arm safety. It is also a goal to be able to provide shorts for the cadets to wear as part of their uniforms.

The total expense of these upgrades and purchases will be roughly $10,000. If you are able to donate to NTCC, it would be much appreciated.

All donations can be mailed to Trooper Lauren Lesher at PA State Police Montoursville located at 899 Cherry St Montoursville, PA 17754. All checks must be made out to our fiscal sponsor Tioga County Partnership or TCPCH and NTCC noted in the memo.

The golf tournament is next friday and we still have room for a few more teams. Share the flyer and fill those spots to help raise money for Northern Tier Camp Cadet.
