Have you visited the Newark Earthworks? For 100 years, this ancient earthwork has been part of a golf course, but is now open to the public as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today's tour took us into the Octagon, along the Avenue and into the Observatory Circle, where 40+ visitors on the tour watched the moon rise in alignment with the earthen gateway! Wonderful experience!
