We have been asked if we would stand a watch on September 12th. If we can get a spot at 12:40pm, how does that sound to everyone?

UPDATE; We are standing our 20 minute watch at 12:40. Maybe a pizza and a drink at the Post after our duty.

Friday All you can eat Fish, fries, and Slaw 4:00pm-7:00pm Dollar Bottom shelf and can beer until 9:00pm

Every August 7, the nation pauses to observe National Purple Heart Day, a tribute to the men and women who have been wounded or killed in the line of duty while serving in the United States military. It is not a federal holiday, and for most Americans, it passes without much notice. But for the veterans who carry the medal — and the families of those who earned it posthumously — the day is a quiet, deeply personal reminder that their sacrifice has not been forgotten.

We’re incredibly grateful to Bill Myers, Commander of VFW 9943 Post and Auxiliary, and our partners at the VFW for their generous $20,000 donation, which was dropped off yesterday, to support older adults in our community. 💙
