Year 2 of the pollinator project is showing out! By next spring this thing will be full steam ahead. Excellent habitat for all sort of critters in this area including bob white quail and wild turkeys. Mark Twain Lake

The Twin Rivers PBA burn trailer has been busy lately! Great to see 🔥 on the ground! We funded this trailer with help from Missouri Prescribed Fire Council

Timber burn 🔥🔥🔥

10 acre timber burn prepped in 1 hour by 2 people. One leaf blower and one chainsaw used to clear firebreaks is all it took. The saw being used to cut bigger logs laying over the break and blower to clear leaf litter and small sticks. Bare dirt is what we’re after! To windy today to light it but tomorrow morning it’s game on 🔥🔥

In 2025 we were able to launch 3 habitat projects in our first year as a non profit! The pollinator, prairie restoration and prescribed fire trailer projects are up and running thanks to you! We’ll bring you updates as we roll through spring. We are just getting started! 🔥

Iowa public land prairie restoration project is fully funded and underway! The contractor has been tasked with removing the most undesirable species first. As you can see in these photos, some of these prairies have been overtaken with autumn olive, bush honeysuckle and Eastern red cedar. Stay tuned for more updates. We’re excited to see this progress! Pollinator seed has been planted! Thanks Mark Twain Lake - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for prepping the site and planting! That is Aaron Ecklekamp on the tractor!

We’ll keep you guys updated on this project as we go! This is just the beginning.
