This will be for households that have not received a 2026 Cooling benefit. If you have received a 2026 Cooling benefit you are not eligible at this time for Liheap Non-Crisis assistance. Please note the new phone number for Non-Crisis assistance. Crisis assistance (disconnect notice) has different instructions and calls are not taken on the same day. Please read the flyer in its entirety.

Jori Milton is one of the two recipients of the 2026 Louisiana Housing Council Scholarship from DeSoto Parish. She was presented her award at the Louisiana Housing Council Legislative Conference in Baton Rouge, on April 30, 2026.
