Mansfield Local Cultural Council

Mansfield Local Cultural Council MLCC Local Cultural Council Program (LCC) is a grassroots complement to Massachusetts Cultural Council’s centralized grant programs.

Allocations are made to all of Massachusetts' 351 cities and towns to support community cultural activities. LCC Program is the most extensive system of its kind in the nation to support the arts. LCC volunteers review applications from individuals, schools, and organizations to fund concerts, field trips, performances, lectures, workshops and community celebrations.

An Announcement from the Town's 250th Anniversary (Sestercentennial) Celebration Committee

The Town of Mansfield’s 250th (Sestercentennial) Anniversary Celebration Committee announces the official launch of the logo design which will be used to promote the Town’s celebratory event programming during the 2025 calendar year. After much deliberation, the Committee chose to incorporate artwork from various artistic submissions to create an identifiable and recognizable image that will be used across a wide range of digital and print backgrounds. The Committee would like to recognize the contributions of two Mansfield residents, Kristen Veader and Declan O’Brien, whose submissions were incorporated into the design. This artwork may be used on posters, buttons, t-shirts, flyers and in other mediums to help spread awareness and support for the Town’s sestercentennial programming. The Committee’s logo is representative of the Town seal’s structure, while the central messaging focuses on the main goal of the Committee and its programming: To celebrate our Town and its history!

If you would like more information about the 250th Committee, please contact the Town Manager’s Office at (508) 261-7370 or [email protected].
