MANSFIELD — Two years ago, the beginning of a project to transform the Mansfield community began with the formation of Thrive Heart & Soul in Mansfield.

Sitting in the gallery at the Mansfield Borough Council Meeting last night, we all listened intently as Steve M. spoke about the upcoming additions to the Joyce Tice Trail. They plan to erect a series of plaques featuring important and influential people from this place, our little patch of land right here.

Arthur Dewey will be the first plaque to be installed. Please take a minute to read his attached obituary.

He graduated from Mansfield High School and went on to become one of the greatest humanitarians of his generation, maybe of any generation.

Thank you Steve for speaking with such passion. Thank you Joyce for taking such good care of our history. Thank you Arthur Dewey for looking after the world.
