Last week we had some incredible, hardworking, committed and compassionate individuals volunteering for our 2nd dressing day of the year! The students we had in were so grateful and very respectful. It was great to see the smiles all around! 💙

This annual event makes such an impact in our community, builds strong connections with families and local resources and has been going strong for 30 YEARS! The FOP is such a huge advocate of The New Store we love supporting their hard work in return year after year.

The FOP William J. Taylor Lodge #32 hosted its 30th annual clothing shopping spree Sunday at Walmart on Possum Run Road.

This gratitude filled Sunday is taking us back to last week, when 1200 backpacks were stuffed with school supplies and distributed to families from Richland County Job & Family Services and Richland County Children’s Services Kinship Program.

This project is the epitome of a community working together to build up, support our neighbors. All of the bags and supplies are sourced and provided by The New Store, Crossroads Church helps stuff the bags and JFS and Children’s Services distributes them to families in need. ❤️💚💙

Last night we kicked off the 2026/2027 school year with an AMAZING group of families and volunteers! We were thrilled to have the Lady Lex Soccer team in to volunteer along side several of our regular superstars and boy did they bring the positivity and good vibes!

They helped 89 kids pick out cool new clothes and provided backpacks to 77 kids, in just 3 hours…and made it look easy! Thanks to our volunteers and best wishes to this sweet bunch of kids and families we had in as they kick off another great school year!

We’d like to give a huge shoutout to the staff and customers of Buckeye Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT Superstore for donating an entire TRUCK FULL of backpacks and school supplies!

We have wrapped up 2025/2026 school year seeing 908 students through The New Store over just 14 days! We could not have done it without all of the incredible volunteers who make this place so special. 💙💚❤️💛 THANK YOU to each and every one of you!
