From our November pack meeting, our scouts who sold popcorn were rewarded with the opportunity to pie the Scout Master in the face.

Beginning December 1, 2025, the Longhorn Council Council Program Fee will increase from $15 to $38 for all Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA members, Venturers, and Adult Volunteers.

This fee supports the local costs of insurance and program operations that help keep Scouting safe and strong across the Longhorn Council.

We know any increase can be challenging, and this change was made only after careful review by our Council Budget Committee and Executive Board to ensure we can continue providing high-quality Scouting experiences.

Good news: Families can use Klarna during online registration to split payments into smaller installments, making it easier to manage costs.

Pack 788 had a great time right before Halloween at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch, making crafts, archery, and enjoying the haunted hay ride put on by different Scouting Troops and Longhorn Council.

Had a great time last night. Thank you everyone for coming out. Special shout out to Visit Mansfield for bringing that art truck for all of the kids and kids at heart to enjoy. Another special shout out to Troop 1703 for helping out and making everything run smoothly.
