A St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s club member volunteers with a non-profit organization called 'The Right Relief.' The organization, founded by her cousin in Wisconsin, has expanded into the Boston area. They provide relief to caregivers in the form of a home-cooked meal. Caregiver relief is not charity. It is simply relief. Relief from buying, planning, and cooking a meal. Relief from fast food. Please help The Right Relief by voting. Not just for the money, but the opportunity to get TRR’s message out.

If they gather the most votes it will mean another $1000 to put towards the cost of ingredients for meals but also the opportunity to get The Right Relief's message out.

ABORTION AMENDMENT UPDATE:
Call the Governor’s office:
Amendment #759 Improved Access to Healthcare, filed by Chair Cronin (Expansion of Abortion law)

The Senate included the expansion of Abortion in their version of the Budget. It will now be included in the final Budget bill that will go to the Governors’ office for approval. The Governor can still VETO that amendment and remove it from the budget. The Legislators would then have to override his veto or let the amendment die.

Whether you agree or not this type of policy issues should not be hidden into the budget and avoid the opportunity for citizens to speak their agreement/disagreement on the issue! Lastly, some reports indicate that it only allows for abortion under “lethally fetal anomaly” and only expands the age of 16 in this case. This is MISinformation. It doesn’t define what “lethal” means and it doesn’t state age 16+ is only under those conditions. Easy to determine since the word “and’ is use. .

I urge you to call Governor Baker's Constituent Services Main Office (617) 725-4005 and express you desire that this amendment get vetoed due to not supporting expansion of abortion and/or not supporting the manner in which this type of policy is included into a budget. Unfortunately, the Legislative Office # is not published (at least I couldn’t find it)

The MA House added Amendment #759 to the outside section of the budget. It will allow abortion at 24 weeks or more ( 6,7,8 and 9 months) if there is a "lethal fetal anomaly" no definition of "lethal" Spinal Bifida is lethal but kids lives a long time. Girls under the age of 16 can have an abortion without permission. It allows abortion for the mother's Mental health (who decides this) Yes NY has had women having "abortions" at 6, 7,8 and 9 months. Please call your Senator (tomorrow) and let them know you are not in support of this being included in their version.
