Your Mansfield Firefighters at work this morning in the area of Sautter Drive. Despite a high call volume due to the weather, firefighters made an effective offensive attack on a basement fire. The first arriving ambulance companies (Rescues) were able to don the their protective gear and hold the fire at bay with a water can extinguisher while engine companies responded in icy conditions from all corners of the City.

This fire highlights the importance of well staffed and properly located fire stations with well trained personnel ready to serve our citizens.
