Our mission is to provide supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity.

We believe that access to food is a basic human right, as is the dignity of our neighbors. If you are in need, please contact us for registration. Our Daily Bread Friends Caring and Sharing Food is an all-volunteer organization. We depend on the generous food and monetary donations from our community to serve residents of Mansfield, Massachusetts who are in need of food. For the year 2022:

try is accessibly by appointment only on Thursdays. The Pantry is open for walk-in access by registered users on Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am. If you are in need of an appointment or would like to register to use the Pantry, please email us at [email protected]

We are closed on some holiday weekends- please check this page frequently for more information.

🧑‍🌾 Calling all local gardeners!
If you are a local resident with a home garden and interested in sharing excess fruits and vegetables with your neighbors in need, the Pantry will gladly accept home-grown produce that has been recently harvested and in good condition.

Donations will be accepted by a Pantry Volunteer on the following days: Weds. from 9 a.m. to noon, Sat. from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., or as scheduled with our Food Drive Coordinator

🛒 Join us for a summery ☀️ Stuff-A-Truck event! We will be at Mansfield Shaw’s 🍃 this weekend on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM each day! 🚛

Add a few extra non-perishable groceries to your cart to donate at one of our tables right outside the store. Inside Shaw’s, you’ll find helpful signs indicating the groceries that are most needed.

Also, you can enter for a chance to win a $100 Shaw’s gift card generously donated by the store. We will draw a name from entrants after the event and contact the winner via email.

Tomorrow night! 🥨 Join us at Mansfield Family Fun Night on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM! Downtown Main Street will be closed to traffic and filled with over 100 local vendors, live music, inflatables, games, and food trucks.

Enjoy Philly Pretzel Factory soft pretzels while supporting the Pantry!

Also be sure to enter our 50/50 raffle for a chance to win! 💚

Lily and Miranda would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Women’s Health Drive! We were able to collect approximately 600 packages of menstrual hygiene products, totaling nearly 14,000 individual items.

A special thank you to Mansfield Stop & Shop for graciously hosting our donation bin throughout the drive, and to every individual who took the time to donate.

Pads, panty liners, and tampons are essential to the health and well-being of our neighbors. Your donations help ensure access to these basic necessities.

The Mansfield Food Pantry recently received a $5,300 grant from the Greater Boston Food Bank to replace an aging freezer and refrigerator with brand-new, energy-efficient units.

The grant comes as food insecurity continues to rise across Massachusetts. The Greater Boston Food Bank supports more than 600 community partners across Eastern Massachusetts, including the Mansfield Food Pantry, helping provide fresh, nutritious food to neighbors in need. We are very grateful for their support.

Freedom from Hunger month is here 🎆 Thanks to a very generous donor, qualifying donations made to Mansfield Food Pantry during July 2026 will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $3,000!

Your donation goes twice as far and helps provide nutritious food to individuals, seniors, and families with children facing food insecurity in Mansfield.

Fire up those grills! 🔥🍔 We celebrated our extraordinary volunteers at our annual volunteer cookout! Steering committee members Dick Kelsay and Kathy Deely shared a heartfelt thank you, recognizing everyone for their dedication and compassion. Their work continues to make a positive impact to those facing food insecurity in our community. As an organization run 100% by volunteers, Mansfield Food Pantry truly couldn’t do it without them.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. Thank you especially to John’s Dream Ice Cream—raising epilepsy awareness, benefiting Epilepsy Foundation New England, and serving ice cream with a smile to remember John. 🍦💙
