Our mission is to provide supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity.

We believe that access to food is a basic human right, as is the dignity of our neighbors. If you are in need, please contact us for registration. Our Daily Bread Friends Caring and Sharing Food is an all-volunteer organization. We depend on the generous food and monetary donations from our community to serve residents of Mansfield, Massachusetts who are in need of food. For the year 2022:
The Pantry is accessibly by appointment only on Thursdays. The Pantry is open for walk-in access by registered users on Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am. If you are in need of an appointment or would like to register to use the Pantry, please email us at [email protected]

We are closed on some holiday weekends- please check this page frequently for more information.

We had an amazing time at Zach Bryan’s concert last Saturday! Gillette Stadium was sold out, hosting over 73,000 hungry fans! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our concession stand to grab a bite. Your support helps us continue our mission here at Mansfield Food Pantry.

We couldn’t have done it without our dedicated volunteers and coordinator, Aaron Nicodemus. A special thank-you to Mansfield Band for this opportunity!

We are hosting our 1st Annual Diaper Drive throughout October to help our clients during the months of November and December. We would like to take the burden of purchasing diapers off of them during the most challenging time of year.

We are looking for diaper sizes 3 through 6 (not newborn sizes), as well as wipes.

The Diaper Drive can be done internally, and you can contact us for pickup. You may also choose to drop off products at one of our collection sites (please let us know so we can acknowledge your donation).

Mansfield Food Pantry is partnering with the Mansfield Band Parents Association to operate a Gillette Stadium concession stand for the Zach Bryan concert this Saturday, October 3rd!

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Mansfield Food Pantry. If you’re a country music fan attending the concert, stop by and fuel up for the show!

We are currently stationed at the Backyard Barbecue Stand (BBQ 118). Please note that our location may change.

We can’t wait to see you there!

Today, September 29th, Hunger Action Day, we want to take a moment to say thank you!

Every volunteer and community member who gives their time, energy, or support to Mansfield Food Pantry plays an important role in ensuring that our neighbors have access to the food and resources they need.

Whether you pick up food from collection bins, sort donations, help on distribution days, attend our events, or simply spread the word about our services, your contribution matters.

As we move through the fall and look ahead to upcoming events and opportunities, we hope you’ll consider continuing your involvement—and perhaps finding a new way to lend a hand as well.

Thank you to Sadie Carroll and James Mullins for your support! 🍋 Both seven years old, they put their creative and entrepreneurial skills together this Hunger Action Month to sell lemonade, with all proceeds benefiting Mansfield Food Pantry.

Community engagement like this brings awareness and makes a meaningful difference in supporting the many families and households in our community facing food insecurity.

You, too, can take action and make a difference in your community. Hosting a food drive is one of the easiest ways to rally your family, coworkers, church, school, or community group to help stock the shelves at the Mansfield Food Pantry.

September is Hunger Action Month™ - the Feeding America network’s annual nationwide campaign designed to inspire people to take action and raise awareness of hunger in the United States.

In Massachusetts, an astounding 40% of our population experiences food insecurity. That means more than 2.8 million people aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from.

More than 480 Mansfield households visited the Mansfield Food Pantry in 2025 to shop for supplemental food, and those numbers are rising.

But together, we have the power to end hunger here. Every action makes a difference. You can join the movement by donating, volunteering, advocating, or sharing our message online.

The Mansfield Select Board recognized Autumn Reynolds, Lily Thibault, and Miranda Hourigan for their compassion and commitment to helping others in our community!

We thank them for their dedication in starting a women’s health drive after recognizing a need for menstrual hygiene products in our community. Their initiative helped bring awareness to an important need and made a meaningful difference for local residents.

Today, on National Food Bank Day during Hunger Action Month, we’re looking back on the amazing summer we had this year! 🇺🇸

Thanks to our incredible community, we had an overwhelming amount of engagement and support throughout the summer, especially through our Freedom from Hunger Campaign, which successfully raised $3,000 in matched donations and some! Thank you also to our anonymous donor.

We also hosted our Shaw’s Stuff a Truck event, where our community donated over 2,290 pounds of food. This generous contribution will help carry us through the next couple of months, keeping our shelves stocked for our Mansfield neighbors in need. Thank you to our volunteers and Shaw’s staff.
