Our mission is to provide supplemental food at no cost to those in Mansfield experiencing food insecurity.

We believe that access to food is a basic human right, as is the dignity of our neighbors. If you are in need, please contact us for registration. Our Daily Bread Friends Caring and Sharing Food is an all-volunteer organization. We depend on the generous food and monetary donations from our community to serve residents of Mansfield, Massachusetts who are in need of food. For the year 2022:

try is accessibly by appointment only on Thursdays. The Pantry is open for walk-in access by registered users on Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am. If you are in need of an appointment or would like to register to use the Pantry, please email us at [email protected]

We are closed on some holiday weekends- please check this page frequently for more information.

Health Products Needed!
From June 7–June 26, you can donate women’s health products at the donation drop box located at Mansfield Stop & Shop (Chauncy Street).

All donations go to Mansfield Food Pantry and help support our neighbors in need.

Mansfield Food Pantry welcomed state Rep. Michael Chaisson, who represents Mansfield, for a tour of the facility on Thursday, May 21. He spoke with volunteers and shoppers, as well as Pantry Steering Committee members Richard Kelsay, Aaron Nicodemus, and Michael Healey. Thanks for your visit, Rep. Chaisson!

Nourishing the Future is proud to announce the recipients of their inaugural scholarship awards!
This year, $8,500 was awarded to two outstanding Mansfield High School seniors whose dedication to volunteering here at the Pantry has made a meaningful impact on our community.

Congratulations
⭐ Sabrina Monaghan, recipient of a $5,000 scholarship, attending Harvard College in the fall to study Environmental Science & Public Policy.
⭐ Charles Sirois, recipient of a $3,500 scholarship, attending McGill University this September to study Mechanical Engineering.

Both students exemplify leadership, compassion, and a strong commitment to service. Please join us in congratulating Sabrina and Charles on their incredible achievements!

We are loving this weather! 😎 Saturday morning volunteers will be setting up our Farmers Market (weather permitting) so that our shoppers can choose from all of the available delicious fresh fruits and vegetables whilst enjoying this summer air. ☀️

Thank you to our dedicated community, volunteers, and especially mail carriers for a wonderful food drive this past Saturday! We totaled over 3,500 pounds of food, an increase of over 10% from collections in 2025! Your support truly helps us to stamp out hunger in our community.

The nation's largest single-day food drive is tomorrow! On Saturday, May 9, Mansfield letter carriers will collect nonperishable food donations to deliver to Mansfield Food Pantry in the Food Drive! We look forward to your support!

We invite you to take part in one of the most impactful food drives of the year—the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 9th.

Sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers, this nationwide effort brings our community together to help stock the Pantry for the months ahead. Each year, Mansfield’s letter carriers collect donations of non-perishable food items along their routes and deliver them directly to the Pantry. In 2025 alone, more than 3,000 pounds of food were collected—an incredible show of generosity that made a real difference for our neighbors.

The need continues to grow, and your support is more important than ever.

Participating is simple:

Place a bag of non-perishable, unexpired food items near your mailbox on the morning of Saturday, May 9
Your letter carrier will pick up your donation and ensure it reaches the Pantry
Keep an eye out for a postcard in early May highlighting our most needed items or checkout our website.

Interested in getting more involved? We are also seeking volunteers to assist with weighing, date-checking, and sorting donations on the day of the drive. If you’d like to help, please reach out to Kathy at [email protected] for more information.
