What a wonderful report! Sister Samantha Knipp who graduated from high school last Sunday and left for Thailand on Tuesday just reported: “Today we had over 70 people get the Holy Ghost in a village where Jesus has never even been spoken about!”

Taking the whole gospel by the whole church to the whole world,

Praise God for Paig responding to the revelation of the need to be baptized in Jesus name! A truly book of Acts experience! Last night during a time of great fellowship with Jason and Paig at there house with my wife, as we were talking about various things including the word of God!

And a light (revelation) came on and Paig lit up! “Can I get baptized in Jesus name now?” “I will go fill the bathtub up now!”

Ananias said to Paul, “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and “wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” (Acts 22:16 NKJV)

There should be no waiting! You are not getting baptized to make a statement to the church or anyone else! Baptism, in Jesus name is to have your repented sins remitted (wash away) so you can be baptized into Christ!

It’s what Jesus commanded His disciples to preach in Luke 24:47! “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among ALL NATIONS, beginning at Jerusalem.”

Just like the book of Acts, and the way it still should be done now! Peter, the one who Jesus gave the keys to, answered those who were cut to the heart and wanted to know what they should do, he said, “Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ “for the remission of sins” and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost!”

Have you been baptized in Jesus name yet? What are you waiting for? Jesus said, “he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved! God gives eternal salvation to them that “obey Him.” Hebrews 5:9

“Pursue love and jealousy seek the spirituals, but especially that you may prophecy.” Dr. M.D Treese, The Literal Word

Today at 10am & 7pm we continue our journey through 1 Corinthians chapters 11-14. Where Paul is dealing with issues concerning “public worship.”

Today we will be in chapter 14

“Miss use of the gifts is “NO” excuse to cast aside the gifts of the spirit!” Mark Meyer, Sr.

Too many speak against the gifts who have “never” experienced these wonderful God given gifts to equip the Church (the body of Christ) that it may be built up, encouraged, and comforted.

Notice, the pursuit for love being mentioned 1st! Because if the motive and operation is done without love, then we are just noise makers!

Phrases like, “Covet earnestly the best gifts,” “covet to prophecy, and forbid not to speak in tongues,” “desire spirituals” show we should go after them with great zeal!

Come and let’s reason together and allow the Scriptures to answer the questions.

“So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 1:7-8 KJV
