ATTENTION!!! TODAY IS THE DAY! GET YOUR INFORMATION IN.
Richland County Livestoxk Exhibitors, it is here! Use the QR. ode the link below to access the 2025 online self tagging form. The form is self explanatory and it keeps track of your progress.
Some important information to know:
1. The form will ask you to register or create a profile for each exhibitor. If you have multiple children, then create a profile for each. The contact phone number and email address can be the same. IMPORTANT: make sure to write down your username and password, the profile will be saved for next year.
2. The process is much like buying a product online. You will add a project to the cart and once you have added all your projects, then you can proceed to checkout. If you are taking two feeder calves and two hogs, you should have 4 items in your cart with unique ear tags. Same if you are taking two lambs, you should have two items in your cart with two unique scrapie tag numbers.
3. Know your tag number or your scrapie tag number. For scrapie tags (goats and lambs), enter the complete scrapie number. For richland county tags (feeder calves and hogs), enter all 15 numbers.
4. Make sure to have your three pictures before starting the process. At the end of the registration, it will ask you to upload your pictures. Taking your pictures ahead of time will save you time. Make sure to have a clear picture of the tag in the ear, and one from each side of the animal.
IMPORTANT: self tagging entries are due no later than May 10th, 2025.
Again:
- If you are taking a goat or lamb, the scrapie tag is the official identification of the animal, therefore you do not need to tag it with a richland county 840 tag. Use the scrapie tag # in the ID field when asked.
- Feeder Calves and Hogs will require a 15 digit 840 tag. If your animal already has a 15 digit 840 tag either from the breeder, show circuit, or your farm, then use that tag #. If you need a tag, see Mike Lantz, Dave Dick, and Randy Eisenhauer if you need a tag.
Reminder! Goats and Lambs must have a scrapie tag. If you don’t, obtain one from the breeder or your vet. No scrapie tag, no show!
Again, follow for updates and ask questions.
