Just as a shepherd protects and carries the vulnerable, foster families provide comfort during uncertain seasons and remind children they are never forgotten. 🐑💜

Every child deserves to be held close, guided gently, and surrounded by compassion. Thank you to those who answer the call to care for the most vulnerable among us.

Right now, 14,000+ Ohio children are in foster care, and 30% of them are between the ages of 1 and 5.

Fostering isn't easy, but you don't have to figure it out alone. New Mercy Outreach walks with you through every step — with hands-on training, a 24/7 crisis line, and a community of foster families who get it because they're living it too.

As of 2024, over 14,000 children are in Ohio foster care.

30% of foster children across the country are between the ages of 1 and 5. 28% were between 11-16.

Beyond these numbers are babies, kids, and teens who need safe homes, stable adults, and a community that shows up for them.

It's Child Abuse Awareness Month, and we're committed to changing these numbers — through prevention, education, and advocacy.

The Easter holiday may have passed, but its message hasn’t. The hope, renewal, and love we celebrate on Easter Sunday is something we carry with us every single day. 🕊💜
