My Village Ministries: Mansfield Chapter

Mansfield MVM Friends –

We want to give you an update regarding the ministry. It is with heavy hearts that we share Mansfield MVM will be closing down at the end of August 2025. It is our hope that this will not be permanent, as there is great need in our community for this family preservation work.

During our three and a half years as a chapter, we have seen the Lord do some miraculous things in many lives. Lifelong relationships have been built and families have been forever changed with the love of Jesus. As much as we love this ministry, we don’t have the volume of church partnerships, support, and volunteers needed to sustain the ministry at this time. MVM is by no means the only way for a church to engage in family preservation and Kingdom work, but may this be a call to our local churches to remember what is ours to do. If we do not take an active stance to stand in the gap for disadvantaged families, who will? May it be said of each of us at the end of it all, that we loved the Lord faithfully by caring for the least of these.

Our prayer is that the work would be able to continue as My Village Ministries Columbus Chapter looks to expand in surrounding areas with an Area Director Model. They are looking to expand from Columbus into three new Central Ohio areas. Please join us in prayer as they move in this direction!

Please know that whatever role you played in MVM Mansfield, you are seen and appreciated more than you know. Whether it was dollars donated, time volunteered, homes opened, prayers prayed – we see you, and it is because of your faithfulness that we were able to do all that we did. From all of us here on the Mansfield team…THANK YOU. You have been a Kingdom builder and community changer.

There are so many people in our area needing our services and a new program ready to launch for expectant moms needing support 🩵

BUT we have a severe lack of volunteers and church engagement. The only way we can move forward is for more churches and individuals to take on the mission of family preservation 🥺

We have a volunteer training coming up on February 8th!!! We need at least 10 registered volunteers to have the training and keep moving forward.

Can you help us spread the word and get some friends to training? ☺️

We are having our training next Saturday from 9am-1pm! 🩵

If your church or agency is interested in learning more about My Village Ministries, come to this training! We’re going to be going over what we do, trauma training, biblical hospitality, and volunteer roles.

We are in desperate need of host families and other volunteers for this ministry to thrive. Let’s be the village and help those who are in need of family preservation!

to be “pro-life” is more than a slogan.
it’s more than a political stance.
it’s more than a sign.
it’s more than a nice idea to help babies live.

we serve a God who doesn’t desire the right words and stances but that we would live fully surrendered to Him, laying down OUR LIVES for one another 😳

to be pro-life is more than words.

pro-life is holding the hand of the scared teen mom when she finds out she is pregnant.

pro-life is inviting the single mom to share your table.

pro-life is canceling things and making room in your schedule to be present with others.

pro-life is answering the midnight call for help when a friend’s kids are sick.

pro-life is being the listening ear and constant that maybe, they never had.

it’s more than words or speech. it is action and truth.

my village ministries mansfield is striving to equip YOU and your churches to truly be pro-life — to be more than a slogan. more than a once a year donation.

there is desperate need for holy community. linking arms and walking the roads of life together 🩵
