🎣 As we get ready for our Fishing with D.A.D. event this Saturday June 20th, we want to recognize a couple of generous donors who are helping make this event special for the families attending.

A huge thank you to Brad from Exithis, an escape room in Ontario, for donating a $100 gift card for one of our event prizes!

We’re also incredibly grateful to Sue from Grampaw’s Bait & Lures for donating fishing gear, supplies and gift cards that will help make the day even more exciting and memorable for the kids and families attending.

The support of local businesses and community members means so much to us. Thank you for helping us create a fun filled day of fishing, memories, and quality time between kids and the important father figures in their lives.

‼️ We’re just 5 days away ‼️

We’re excited to be part of the upcoming Fishing with D.A.D. event at North Lake Park on Friday, June 20, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM! Families can enjoy fishing instruction, Touch-a-Truck, bounce houses, face painting, free haircuts, giveaways, food, community resources, and so much more. The event is all about bringing families together, creating memories, and building meaningful connections through the outdoors.

This event is about creating memories, mentorship, and meaningful connections that children will carry with them for years to come. 🎣

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this day special for local families and children in our community.

📍 North Lake Park - Mansfield, Ohio
📅 Saturday, June 20, 2026
⏰ 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Volunteer opportunities include:
• Event setup & cleanup
• Greeting families & registration
• Activity stations & games
• Assisting with fishing activities
• Food & refreshments
• General support

No fishing experience is needed, and all fishing equipment will be provided and volunteer refreshments will also be available throughout the event!

Youth volunteers are welcome! Volunteers ages 12-15 may participate with adult supervision, and volunteers ages 16 and older may volunteer independently.

If you’re looking for a way to give back, encourage youth, and be part of something meaningful, we’d love to have you join us.

 🚲❤️ Today was an amazing day for the community.

I had the chance to come out, help the D.A.D. organization, bring the kids, and be part of the Bike Palooza event — and honestly, the turnout and support was incredible.

Over 100 bikes were given away to kids today, along with food, snow cones, community resources, and a whole lot of smiles. The fire department came out, the bike cops took the kids riding through the bike trail on their brand new bikes, and there was nonstop positive energy everywhere you looked.

The police department also showed up big for the kids. They brought out the K9 unit and did demonstrations showing how the dogs listen to commands and help find things, which the kids loved. They also had the SWAT vehicle and the big police surveillance RV set up so the kids could check everything out up close.

Seeing all these organizations come together for the kids and families was honestly awesome to witness. Days like today remind you how important community really is.

Big respect to everybody who donated, volunteered, showed up, or helped make today happen. Mansfield showed a lot of love today 💯

Moments like this are exactly why I’m so passionate about building Reel Time with Dad and creating more positive experiences for the next generation ❤️🎣
