Tonight's the night! See details for the public information session below.

Reminding all residents and taxpayers that today, August 31 at 4:30 and 5:30 Mansfield will host a public information session to review the three Municipal Facilities Campus concepts under consideration by the Town Council. Join in at Council Chamber at the Audrey P. Beck Municipal Building (Town Hall) for either session. It will be livestreamed, and available for viewing later, too. More information is available at https://mansfieldtomorrow.org/municipal-campus-plan/ , and please complete the survey once you have reviewed the concepts. We hope to see you tonight!

Happy Wednesday!

As we look ahead to next week here at the Mansfield Senior Center, don't forget to turn in your September lunch menu 🍽 by THIS Friday at 12 noon.

That's right, September starts Tuesday, and it's our favorite month of the year...Senior Center Month! 🎉This year's theme, "Happier Birthday's Happen Here" means we get celebrate and "party" with you all month long. 🎉

We'll kick things off next week with our first "birth-decades" lunch (Tuesdays all month long), a new month of fitness classes💪, 🎶live music by the Acoustic Fever Trio, the chorus meet and greet👋, and an "Un-Birthday" celebration 🎩🎉with special themed Cafe event (small bills appreciated)!

The Kindness Tree is sprouting some leaves!
We’re taking a break from the “Caring Cookie” award to bring a new round of recognition centered around acts of KINDNESS!
Big or small, an act of kindness can make a significant impact on another’s day. We
encourage all members to not only seek opportunities to express kindness towards
another, but to watch for those tender moments in our community here.
When you see a kind act, add a note to a leaf and place it on the kindness tree, located outside the Dining Room. We will pull one note each month for recognition, and perhaps a little award. Be sure to include the name of the kindness giver on your note!

The tree will also contain notes and mementos for the taking, so stop by and be
kind to yourself at your next visit.

September is Senior Center Month!
This year’s theme is “Happier Birthdays Happen Here” and this September, the Mansfield Senior Center is pulling out all the stops to make sure you have a memorable and engaging celebration. From birth-decade lunches, to an un-birthday extravaganza, and pop-up prizes, we'll keep the happier-happenings going all month long.

But that's not all! You won’t want to miss our Senior Resource Fair, where a variety of vendors will be on hand to provide valuable resources tailored to your needs. We're also excited to announce the return of the MSC Variety Show, promising entertainment and fun, as well as the kick-off of the MSC Chorus’s fall session.

Embrace the spirit of the season with a FREE trip to the Hebron Harvest Fair or enjoy a delightful day picking your own fruit at Holmberg Orchards. For animal lovers, a visit to the Southwick Zoo is on the agenda.

If you prefer to stay local, our armchair travel session will whisk you away to the enchanting land of Egypt, all from the comfort of your seat. And in just two short weeks, special guests performers Acoustic Fever Trio will be here to rock your socks off!
