Lee-Davis High School Athletic Hall of Fame Mission: To honor, by enshrinement, those individuals who had exceptional athletic careers and to r Criteria for nomination:
1.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee will induct as many a five (5) inductees each year. Each athletic nominee must be a graduate of Lee-Davis High School.
2. Each nominee must have graduated 5 or more years ago.
3. Significant achievements must have been made by the Nominee in his/her sport, to include high school, college, professional, or amateur venues.
4. The nominee must reflect the highest s

tandards of sportsmanship and good citizenship.
5. Nominees other than athletes who have contributed significantly to the enhancement of "the athletic environment" of Lee-Davis High School may be inducted.

Last night at the Senior Awards Ceremony, Athletic Hall of Fame President Mr. Stevens had the honor of presenting the Tucker-Mitchell Hall of Fame Scholarship to two outstanding student-athletes.

Avery Piece, who will be playing field hockey at Randolph-Macon College, and Seth Hardy, who will be playing football at Shepherd University, were both recognized for their achievements. Congratulations to Avery and Seth, they are the epitome of what it means to be a student-athlete, both on and off the field!

GOLF TOURNAMENT! We are looking for golfers/sponsors to help support the Lee-Davis Athletic Hall of Fame! Friday, June 5th at 1:00 p.m. we will hosting our 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Golf Tournament at Queenfield GC. We are hoping to double the amount of teams we had last year for this awesome event! Please vote for one of Mechanicsville’s very own!!! Ron Pomfrey is a finalist for the 2025 Richmond’s Fan of the Year award!

Ron was recently inducted into the Lee Davis Athletic Hall of Fame and is now a finalist in WRIC’s 2025 Richmond Fan of the Year Award! This award was made for him.
In addition to his coaching career, he has written two Richmond sports history books (Baseball in Richmond and Football in Richmond,) he has the largest collection of Richmond sports memorabilia that he generously displays and shares with the community at events. He also contributes memorabilia for local fundraisers and continues to bring local “old school” little leaguers together to re-live the good old days!

Vote now for the most passionate sports supporter whose energy, dedication, and love for the game make them an essential part of RVA’s sports community.

This past Saturday was a huge success as we inducted 5 new members into the Hall of Fame! Congratulations to Ron, Mark, Nicole, Shane, and Andy for being inducted into the Lee-Davis Hall of Fame!
