Mabel's Mission- A Cure for Children's Arthritis Kids get arthritis too! As some people know, my sister Mabel has juvenile arthritis since she was 4 years old.

Most people don’t know about juvenile arthritis and they only think that adults only get arthritis. With Mabel’s Mission, we are trying to find a cure for juvenile arthritis, and eventually arthritis itself. With this, please give our page a like and thank you very much.

My story.

Hi! My name is Mabel. I am seven years old and love to play outdoors. When I was younger my body would hurt really bad. My mom and dad took me to the doctor and we were told I have Juvenile Arthritis. The doctor gave me a lot of medicine to help me feel better. The medicine made my tummy hurt, but at least the rest of me didn’t hurt as bad! Mom and dad decided to take me to Dr. Porter. He told me I need to eat vegetables and fish and no junk food and I would get better. He was right! I have been flare up free but still have arthritis.

I feel better but I know a lot of kids with my disease don’t. Mom and dad heard about the Arthritis National Research Foundation. They give money to doctors who are looking for a cure. Will you help me raise money?
