The competition is on! 🥫🏆

The Clarendon County Junior Chamber of Commerce is taking on Manning Rotary in a Canned Food Drive Competition!

The competition begins tomorrow, August 26, 2026, and will last for two weeks.

If you would like to support the Junior Chamber, you can donate canned food and other nonperishable items by giving them to any Junior Chamber member or dropping them off at the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce during office hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM

All items collected will be distributed to local food banks right here in Clarendon County.

Let’s come together, have a little friendly competition, and make a big difference in our community! Help the Junior Chamber bring home the win! 🏆🥫

⭐ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: RYDER HUDSON ⭐

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Ryder Hudson!

Ryder has been a member of the Clarendon County Junior Chamber for 6 years and currently serves as our Vice President. Over the years, he has enjoyed being involved in the community, building relationships, and helping the Junior Chamber continue to grow and make an impact.

Outside of the Junior Chamber, Ryder is a co-owner of Clutter Crushers LLC and works with Swamp Fox Industrial Solutions.

Most importantly, Ryder is a husband and proud dad to his 6-month-old son. His wife and son are his world, and family is what matters most to him.

When Ryder gets some free time, you’ll most likely find him on the water at the lake or out playing golf.

We’re proud to have Ryder as part of the Clarendon County Junior Chamber and appreciate the time and effort he puts into serving our community!

7th Annual Clarendon Cup — What a Day!

Please plan to arrive as close to 8:30 AM as possible for registration so we can get everyone checked in and get the tournament started on time.

Please bring cash or a check for your entry fee to help speed up the registration process.

This month we’re proud to recognize Camlin Wilder, a dedicated community leader and current Past President of the Junior Chamber.

Camlin served four years in leadership with the Junior Chamber—two years as Vice President followed by two years as President. Throughout his time, he was committed to strengthening the organization, supporting community initiatives, and helping the Junior Chamber continue to grow. Today, he remains actively involved in the community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Professionally, Camlin is a Realtor specializing in Lake Marion and the surrounding area, helping buyers and sellers navigate one of South Carolina’s most unique real estate markets. He has also served on the Sumter Board of Realtors, further demonstrating his commitment to his profession and the communities he serves.

When he’s not working or volunteering, Camlin enjoys giving back through youth athletics. He coaches the defense for the Holly Hill Academy football team and serves as Vice President of the school’s Booster Club, helping support student-athletes both on and off the field.

Above all, Camlin credits his wife, Raven, and their two daughters, Palmer and Isla, for being his greatest source of support and motivation.

The Clarendon County Junior Chamber of Commerce is proud to support Well Watered Ministries and their incredible Shop With a Hero program with a $1,500 donation!

This amazing initiative pairs local teens with police officers, firefighters, and EMTs for a one-on-one Christmas shopping experience that provides much more than gifts—it builds trust, confidence, and lasting relationships with the first responders who serve our community every day.

If you’d like to be part of this incredible program, please consider sponsoring a child. A sponsorship of $150 helps provide a personalized shopping experience, essential items, Christmas gifts, and memories that will last a lifetime.
