Tomorrow is the big day! 🎡🍀 Join us Saturday, October 17, for 4-H Day at the South Carolina State Fair!

4-H members get FREE admission—just show your membership card at the gate. Then meet us at 12:45 PM at the Nutt Cattle Arena for the 1:00 PM ceremony hosted by the State 4-H Teen Council.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 🎉💚🎠🙌

Congratulations to all our Clarendon County 4-H youth who competed last week in the Orangeburg County Fair's livestock shows!
We had kids participate in the rabbit, poultry, and dairy goat shows.

Calling all SC 4-H members!

Charleston Tea Garden is hosting its first Autumn on the Island on Saturday, November 21st, and it includes a 4-H Chicken and Rabbit Show!

4-H members from across South Carolina are invited to show their chickens and rabbits in competition. Prizes are sponsored by Tractor Supply, the James Island Chick-fil-a, and the Charleston Tea Garden.

Schedule
🐓 Chickens: check-in at 10 am, show at 11 am
🐇 Rabbits: check-in at 11 am, show at 12 pm

Not showing? Come cheer on your fellow 4-H’ers! Admission is free, and there’s a Community Market from 10 am to 4 pm with local farmers, artists, and makers, plus food trucks and hands-on indigo dyeing.

Great activities offered at the Harvin Clarendon County Library!

THIS WEEK: Something crafty lurks among the booooooks! Creep into the library October 5–8, Monday–Thursday, from 5–6:30 PM for four evenings of frightfully fun creations.

• Monday: Paint a purr-fectly spooky black cat.
• Tuesday: Make a fuzzy, beady-legged creepy crawler.
• Wednesday: Bubble, bubble, paint and trouble! Create a bubbling cauldron with bubble painting.
• Thursday: We’re going batty! Make a bat with wings that actually flap.
